The GE web Sites are trusted and safe. It is recommended that before using the Technical Manuals application URL, you have to add “*.gepower.com” in the Trusted sites zone of Internet Explorer.
This Zone contains Web sites that you trust as safe (such as Web sites that are on your organization's intranet or that come from established companies in whom you have confidence). When you add a Web site to the Trusted sites zone, you believe that files you download or that you run from the Web site will not damage your computer or data. By default, there are no Web sites that are assigned to the Trusted sites zone, and the security level is set to Low.
Following are the steps to add "*.gepower.com" in Trusted sites zone of Internet Explorer.
1. Using the Internet Explorer toolbar, click Tools and then click Internet Options2. Click Security tab
3. Select Trusted sites icon and click Sites button
4. Type *.gepower.com in the first field, Uncheck mark from "Require Server Verification for all sites in this zone", click Add, and then click OK.
