A technical support agreement can be structured such that any of your personnel can access the experts on a 24/7 basis. Alternatively, the agreement can establish a single point of contact for all issues.

Training

GE Energy runs regular training courses for customers. We can offer you these at one of our bases or your site, ensuring that all customers are trained and competent in the use of GE's Oilfield Technology products.

To arrange for an engineer to come to your location or for details of the training courses held at our locations see our Training page.

Capability Reviews

To help you determine your drilling operations and maintenance capabilities, we perform capability reviews. These reviews are typically done when you are obtaining or considering obtaining MWD or resistivity capability. A review can also provide significant value when you are expanding your capability, such as, adding resistivity capability.

Our specialist performs capability reviews at your facility. The review includes a facilities review and interviews with the operators and maintenance technicians. A gap analysis will be performed on the current state of readiness and your desired capability level. The specialist will work with you to develop a plan to close identified gaps.

Rig Site Support

When you need additional, specialized support on a rig site, GE will dispatch a qualified professional to resolve problems or provide specialized customer support.

This need can arise for a variety of reasons, including using tools for the first time or when difficulty is encountered with a well or formation. Issues that cannot be handled remotely via Technical Support can also be addressed with this service. Rig Site Support can be combined with on-the-job training as appropriate.

Feedback

We are very keen to get your feedback - whether positive or negative! - on your experiences with the Oilfield Technology equipment. We will use your constructive feedback to help us develop our existing and future product ranges to make sure they continue to provide the results you require and expect.
